Free training opportunity from the Office of the State Fire Marshal, Division of Personnel Standards and Education.

The 2025 OSFM (DPSE) Guidance and Assistance Training is scheduled for June 28 & 29, 2025, at the Par-A-Dice Hotel and Conference Center, East Peoria, IL.  The training will begin at 10:00 am on June 28 and conclude by noon on June 29.

 

This training is free for the attendee and includes lunch, appetizers and lodging on June 28 and breakfast on June 29.

• Available OSFM Grants

• JCAR

• CRR

• Fire Service Outreach

• NFIRS to NERIS

• OSFM Website

• DPSE WebAccess Portal

• Basic or Advanced Vector Training

• Practicals/Task Books/Certifications/Recertifications

• Volunteer Tax Credit

• IFSTA/J & B Learning Platforms

• Q/A Sessions

Attendance is limited for this training.

Information that must be included on the registration e-mail is:

• Name

• Department

• FDID

• Choose Basic (free site) or Advanced Vector Training (premium site)

• Submit questions for Q/A Sessions (optional)

• Lodging required for Saturday, June 28 (yes/no)

You must bring a laptop or tablet.  To participate with this training, you must have permissions on the PSE WebAccess Portal and Vector.  If you require assistance with permissions on these platforms, please do not hesitate to request the assistance with your registration.  A DPSE staff member will contact you directly.

 

If lodging is required, please do NOT contact the hotel directly.  Please notate on your registration that lodging is needed, and the lodging will be secured as part of your registration.

If you register and lodging is secured and you are a no-show or fail to cancel by June 20, you will be sent an invoice from the Illinois Society of Fire Service Instructors for the cost of the lodging plus tax.

If capacity for the training is met, a waiting list will be established.
